Gracyn is growing quickly (but then again she was a big baby to start with!), she has outgrown her newborn clothes! She wears size 0-3 and 3 month clothes comfortably. Gracyn also will move up to size one diapers as soon as the last few newborn diapers are used up! She drinks about 4 oz. of breast milk about every 4 hours. And some 5 hour stretches at night! She is a very easy going, content baby! Mommy is still producing a good amount of breast milk when she pumps... Between 8-10 ounces each pumping session! She tries to pump once or twice a day to build a stash of frozen breast milk for when she goes back to work!
In the development areas, Graycn seems to be on track! The only area that we have a concern in is her eyes.....I know many newborns have weak eye muscle control and often cross one or both eye....as does Gracyn. The only reason I worry that they will not correct themselves is the fact that lazy eyes run on both sides of the family....My mother (great grandma), me (grandma), Aunt Courtney (Mommy's sister) and Uncle Zac (Daddy's brother) all have lazy eyes! :-( I am happy to see them getting stronger by the day as you can see in the photos below....so saying prayers that her eye muscles will continue to strengthen!!!!! In the big picture of possible problems this is a minor, correctable issue that is not life threatening....so praising God that we have a BEAUTIFUL healthy baby!!!!! P.S. Gracyn sneezes just like Daddy! Multiple sneezes at a time! TOOOO CUTE!
