16 MOS-WORDS!

Little Miss Gracyn repeats many of the words we say to her. Lately she has been adding to the conversation for example, I will call Gracyn on the phone....I usually say Hi Gracyn, and now she is saying Hi MIMI! Last night, Mommy gave her a vitamin, Gracyn said "more?", Mommy said " "No just one", and Gracyn replied, "No! TWO!" Two of her cutest way of saying words are "Yesh (yes)" and "nilk (milk)". In fact, every morning while she sits on the potty half asleep, she whines and says "nilk, nilk" .....toooooo dang cute!  UPDATE.... First 3 word sentence.... Where are you?????

16 MOS- BATHING BEAUTY!

Today, after Mommy let the dogs in, Gracyn went to the closet and said "treats". Once she got the dog treats, Gracyn turned to the dogs, pointed and said "sit"!     Here's another funny, Gracyn now pretends to sleep and snores!  Haha!

15.5 MOS.- 2 WORD SENTENCES!

Little Miss Gracyn is talking more and more.  She is saying more two word sentences lately.  For example, today she was in a whiny mood....she went around the house whining ....Daddy work?  Zac school?

LIGHT UP SHOES

Aunt Courtney got Gracyn these light up shoes for Christmas, needless to say she won't take them off! (FYI...she is wearing her PJ's) .....Notice how she is crossing her legs at ankles? She did this in all of her ultrasounds too! MEMORIES!

TALKING IN HER SLEEP!

Yesterday, many people kept saying bye to Zac (Uncle Zac, who she adores) because he had to leave for his next semester of college.  Gracyn must have dreamt about saying goodbye to Zac when Mommy rocked her to sleep last night....while dozing off, she said bye bye Zac a few times and then woke herself up from talking out loud!  Haha!

130 YEAR RECORD BROKEN!

The -9 on my car dashboard was during my ride to work. The whole city has been closed for a couple of days due to dangerously low temperatures. But being a building principal, I am considered essential personnel and must report to work.....With wind chill we did get to -40 below last night and not only broke a 20 year record, we broke a 130 year old record set back in 1884! Luckily this freeze snap will be short lived. We are expecting above average temps by this weekend with a balmy near 50 degrees! Now this is some CRAZY Ohio weather!

RECORD BREAKING WIND CHILLS!

For the last two days, we have been around -40 wind chill! YIKES! Record breaking cold weather in the last 20 years!

15.5 Mos.- MEMORIZED!

This little smarty has B is for Bear book memorized.  She would make the animal sound for the next page before Mommy had the chance to turn the page.  She did this all through the book!  Pretty Smart!

Mommy visited with her college roommates, who just happen to be her best friends and awesome nurses like Mommy! By the way, guess who used the big potty today...since there was no little potty to use? Yep, you guessed it! Mommy noticed that Gracyn had a dry diaper .....she took a chance and sat her on the big potty and she peed! WOOT, WOOT!

I made these storage/seats for Gracyn's toy room! I still need to add one more coat of spray paint to milk crate once weather cooperates! Thanks Vickie for the wood and foam for the lids!

HAS MAMA'S LASHES!

POTTY TRAINING UPDATE

Little Miss Gracyn is catching on and has peed in the potty several times.  Today, she pointed to the bathroom, went to the potty and waited for grandma to take off her diaper!  Grandma was soooo excited she called Mommy at work to tell her the news.  The second time she went to the bathroom, grandma didn't get to her fast enough.  She found Gracyn sitting in the potty with her diaper on.  Now that she is seeking out the bathroom to go potty, we might have to transition to pull-ups rather than diapers and teach her how to pull her pants up and down on her own!  Pretty amazing how quickly she is catching on!!!! Oh and one more new thing....she is now calling out Mama and Dada to get their attention for something!  SUCH A SMARTY!
