6 MOS.- PEEK -A- BOO
Little Miss Gracyn played Peek-A-Boo with me yesterday! She would lift her lovey (small blankie) up in front of her face to cover her eyes....then she would drop it down and smile ear to ear as I said BOO! She did this several times!!!! Sooooooo Cute!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!!
My Dear Sweet Gracyn,
You are already six month old!!!! How did this happen sooooo quickly?! You are such a happy baby, we are so very blessed! I am guessing you are around 16 lbs. ....it seems your growth spurt has slowed down now that you are mobile and on the go with rolling, sitting and playing all the time! You still wear 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diaper. At 5 1/2 months you cut two bottom teeth! You also started using a sippy cup of water and juice this past month.
You are reaching all your milestones! You can sit unsupported for longer periods of time since about 5 1/2 months. You can even play with toys while you sit....pretty coordinated with the fine motor skills. You know what toys do and how to play with them...shake, twirl, spin, or roll them ! You love to play with toys during bath time and splash around! Right now, you still recline in a bath seat....but I bet you start sitting in the tub this next month or so.
You babble all the time and love to squeal. I heard baba the a few days ago, but it was just a sound with no meaning attached. When Mommy makes a clicking sound with her tongue, you mimic her! Speaking of Mommy, you have become quite the Mommy's girl! You pucker your lower lip and start to cry when she walks out of the room! One thing we have noticed, you hate large crowds of people who want to hold you and take you away from Mommy! Hopefully this is a phase.....time will tell.
You are doing well with solid foods, but now you are constipated....Prunes 3 times a week seems to keep you pooping easily! You are also exclusively breastfeeding between meals (no pumped bottles). :-)
You continue to be a scheduled baby and very content with routine:
6:30 am- Feed
6:45- Play while Mommy gets ready for work.
7:30- 9:30 Sleep
10:00- Fruit, rice cereal & sippy cup of water/juice
10:30-11:00 Play
11:00-12:30 Sleep
1:00- Feed (Mommy on her lunch break)
1:30-2:00 Play
2:00-5:00 Sleep
5:15- Feed (Mommy home from work)
5:30-6:30 Sleep
7:00- Vege,fruit and sippy cup of juice
7:30-9:00 Play
9:00- Bath and feed
9:30- Bedtime!
Sleeps all night...even with all the naps throughout the day!!!!!
